Seeley Lake Nordic Skiing

Peter Hale Nordic Ski Race - Seeley Lake, Montana

Seeley Lake ROCKS is happy announce that The Peter Hale Nordic Ski Race has expanded to include a gentler 10K race course as well as the original 22K race course. The 10K course is an out and back race over a groomed trail with slight eleveation gain. The 22K will still test skiers on a loop consisting of rolling terrain and a challenging up-hill climb midway through the course. Elevation change throughout this course exceeds 1,000 ft., with the majority of this change within a two-mile climb.

Peter Hale was a dearly loved figure in the American Nordic ski community. His love of the sport, determination and genial nature made him an industry icon. He was generous with his time and knowledge with new ski programs, promoting Nordic racers, ski shops, and just anyone that loved this lifetime sport. This event continues to be a thank you for the support and faith Peter had in our growing Seeley Lake ski community.

The Peter Hale Nordic Ski Race is a fundraiser for Seeley Lake ROCKS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy children, strong families and a vibrant community by providing access to outdoor recreational opportunities.
